11. Agreement between the Ministry of Education, ppta and NZEI Te Riu RoaThe parties agree to enter into, in addition to the regulation of the collective agreement, an agreement to create a high-confidence environment in which the teaching profession is highly valued, sustainable and adapted to the current and future of learning. Two copies of this form must be completed and signed by the employer and foreign domestic worker and signed copies must be submitted with the application for an entry permit or with the application under paragraphs 159A, v, 159D (iv), 159EA (iii), 245ZO (f) (ii) and 245ZQ (e) of the immigration code. This document outlines the agreed elements of the collective agreement for primary school teachers 2019-2022. This agreement was reached between the Minister of Education and the New Zealand Training Institute Te Riu Roa (NZEI Te Riu Roa) and is subject to ratification by NZEI members Te Riu Roa in accordance with Section 51 of the Labour Relations Act 2000. 10. Additional paymentsThe parties agree that all full-time workers who are members of NZEI Te Riu Roa and who, from 13 June 2019, will be covered by the collective agreement of primary teachers, are entitled to a one-time gross payment of USD 1,500. Payment is assessed for part-time teachers on the basis of their full-time equivalent (FTTE) as of June 13, 2019. NZEI Te Riu Roa staff members who, as of June 13, 2019, will be covered by the primary teachers` collective agreement and who were on leave from that date pursuant to Part 4 of this collective agreement, will be entitled to a one-time gross payment of $1,500 if they return to their post on January 28, 2020. Short-term discharges within the meaning of paragraph 3.23.3, adopted on USD 13,1,500 per year, which are based on both their employment status and the proportion of the total number of teaching days (140) between 24 October 2018 and 30 June 2019.
The conditions described in this document are valid for ratification by NZEI members Te Riu Roa, provided that ratification is confirmed and the new collective agreement is signed on 1 July 2019 at 3 p.m. The parties recognize that the professional standards agreed under this agreement are intermediate standards for maintaining wages. The parties also recognize that the board could develop a number of standards for teachers. The parties agree that it is desirable, in the medium term, for there to be a single set of standards for teachers. Therefore, the parties agree to take cooperative measures to review the standards of the agreement and, if necessary, revise them to ensure that the standards of the agreement are, as far as possible, in line with the standards developed later. 6. The parties agree to introduce a clause allowing, in agreement with the Minister of Education, teachers to take the lead role of Kahui Ako to have access to the relevant provisions of the primary princes` collective agreement that harmonize the provisions for the entire sector.
